| MAY 13TH ELECTION RESULTS »
Sen. Jon McCain has already wrapped up the nomination for the Republicans, yet other candidates are still receiving a good percentage of votes. If this were earlier in the primary process, it would be considered landslide victories. However, considering the other candidates have no chance of getting the nomination and have all dropped out of the race, I think it is significant.
Sen. Barack Obama defeated Sen. Hillary Clinton in North Carolina by 14 points. Sen. Hillary Clinton defeated Sen. Barack Obama by a narrow margin of 2 points.
Sen. Hillary Clinton has vowed to stay in the race until there is a nominee. Her only realistic chance of getting the nomination, is to have the superdelegates change the outcome of the primary vote.
