WE RAISED $1930.00 FOR CHILDREN'S CANCER RESEARCH
My son was raising money for children's cancer research through St. Baldricks. He agreed to shave his head and people donated money. This is the second year he has been involved. Last year, I agreed to shave my head along with him and did it again this year. Last year he raised $885.00. This year he was able to more than double that amount. The current amount raised is $1930.00. However that amount may still go up because a few people told me they were mailing in donations which takes a little longer to post on their site.
I would like to thank everyone who donated....from the $3.00 donation all the way up to the $500.00 donation from one of my MySpace friends. It truly warms my heart. Out of the $1930.00 donated....$1490.00 of it was donated by 46 of my MySpace friends. I would also like to thank all of you that sent me words of encouragement. And thank you to those who reposted my bulletins.
It once again proves that conservatives are the most generous people around.
