SHAVING OUR HEADS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHILDREN'S CANCER RESEARCH
Once again, my son is raising funds for children's cancer research. He is involved through St. Baldricks. He is gathering donations for this great cause in exchange for agreeing to shave his head bald. If you can afford to, please consider making a donation. No amount is too small. He raised $885.00 last year and has already topped $1000.00 this year. He is currently shooting for $1500.00 or more! I had several customers and readers of ProudConservative.com as well as several of my MySpace friends make donations last year and my son and I were both extremely grateful. Last year, a friend of mine said that she would donate if I shaved my head as well. Of course I did and I will be doing so again this year. The head shaving event will happen on March 17th, 2008. The donation is tax deductible. Thank you everyone for considering making a donation.
