A LETTER TO SENATOR HAGEL FROM AN INFANTRYMAN
I was contacted recently by an Army Infantryman about his disgust with Sen. Hagel's recent vote. He told me he wrote a letter to Sen Hagel and he really wish he had an opportunity to have his letter read by as many people as possible. I offered him a guest op-ed right here on ProudConservative.com. The following is his letter. I am purposely keeping his name off the page.
Sen Hagel,
As an American Soldier, and a veteran of OIF, I want to thank you for your support of enabling our enemies. I admire your honesty in your blatant support of the degradation, and undermining of Your American Soldiers efforts in the middle east. At least you are an obvious RINO who makes it easier for your constituents to not support you in the next election!!! What can I do as an American Soldier to disrupt your plans as a senator? I will blog and write as many people in your district to ensure they know what type of RINO you really are.
To conform to the idiocy of the "time line" in this PORK bill we expect from Democrats. However, when someone who is supposed to be a conservative does this......Do all of us a favor, and run as a democrat in 08. And if by some chance you get the presidential nomination, there is NO chance I will vote for you...I would rather vote for Mickey Mouse.

Here is the start of my promise. Any of you that view this site who are in Hagel's (or any of the other RINOs') district, I urge you to do this:
1) Write down a list of your view on salient issues, and where you stand on them.
2) If it comes out that you lean more to the conservative side, and one of these RINO's is your representative, take a look at his/her values, and see if they match yours.
3) I will never tell you how to vote, but why would you vote for someone if they do not represent your line of values?
Seriously, if you think Hagel is a good conservative, remember on election day the effort he put into stabbing our troops in the back.
