Senator Robert Bennett (R-UT) Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE)...announced retirement! Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)...resigning Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) Senator John McCain (R-AZ) Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME) Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) ***I deleted the names of the Senators that voted for the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to consider S.1639 Vote #228. They did not vote for cloture for vote #235 which in effect has killed this bill. The above Senators voted to keep the bill alive and I will not delete their names.*** If you want to continue supporting the Republicans that are voting against the interests of this nation and it's troops, that is your right. But I will not. I am encouraging strong conservative candidates to challenge the above politicians during the next primary season. I would encourage the G.O.P. to back the conservative candidates whether or not they are the incumbents. And I would also encourage the constituents to vote these people out of office. |
